One is a fantastic translator that you can use while travelling, when you don't have internet access; and another that our family has loved and used for years to manage pocket money and chores.
Jibbigo (free app on both iPad and iPhone)
Jibbigo is a 'must have' when you travel to foreign countries.
It is a voice and language translation app that you can use offline (ie while not connected to the internet at all) or when you have internet access. Just speak a phrase, and it will read out the translation in whatever language you have chosen!
To access offline, you simply download the language file for the required languages when you have internet access, and from that point you will no longer need to be on the internet to use this great translation tool!
iAllowance ($4.99 - designed for both iPad and iPhone)
Our family has used iAllowance for years now, to manage the kids' pocket money, chores and rewards - even to manage the 'Tech Time' allowances!
Each child has their separate bank account, and can have as many savings categories in this bank account as they like. Allowances can be paid each week automatically, or you can link payment to completion of chores. And each saving category can be for money, time or star rewards - really flexible!
It may not be free, but it is really worthwhile looking at if you find the management of kids pocket money a chore - it makes this so easy!
