An amazingly handy feature on the iPad and iPhone is the ability to sign a PDF document that your receive in a mail message, then quickly and easily send the signed version back to the sender - without even having to print it or find a pen!
The 'Markup' feature on the iPad and iPhone (and also available in Preview and the Mail apps on the Mac) allows you to 'draw on' a PDF and/or add a signature to the document. That signature can then be saved, so that it can be used again and again to sign documents that you receive.
Very recently, the iTandCoffee Handy Hint Newsletter featured an article/hint about how to set up a customised email signature on your iPad and iPhone.
Since then, I have been asked a few times how to do the same thing on a your Mac.
The image shown here gives you an idea of just how you can put whatever you like into your signature - and also showcases the new iTandCoffee logo and catchphrase!
So, here are the instructions of how to create an email signature in Mac Mail, feature in a new Handy Hint for iTandCoffee Club members. (Sign in here first, if you are not already signed in.)

This one came up a couple of times this week during classes and appointments.
Many people still have the 'Sent from my iPad' or 'Sent from my iPhone' automatically appearing in every email that they create.
While this can be a handy way of excusing poor typing skills/spelling/grammar - by blaming the 'too small' on-screen keyboard perhaps - most people prefer to sign off with a more personalised 'email signature'.
My own email signature includes my name, and contact details for iTandCoffee (as shown below).
Find out how you can set up your own customised 'email signature' in the below handy hint, available for viewing by members of The iTandCoffee Club. (Sign in here first, if you are not already signed in.)
