18/4/2020 0 Comments I'm loving our online User Groups - so we will hold them more often for a while !
This online format has turned out to be such a fun and fantastic way to host the monthly iTandCoffee User Group meetings! And it has allowed people from all over Victoria - and interstate - to attend our classes/sessions.
Not only do we cover so much useful information in these sessions, we have also found them to be very social - a great way of connecting with others during this time of social distancing. This month's iPad & iPhone User Group session is now available in the Members-Only area, for those of you who have Plus, Online or Premium membership of The iTandCoffee Club.

On Friday 20/3/20, we held our very first Online iPad/iPhone user group - using the wonderful online meeting tool, Zoom.
I must say that when I changed the 'face-to-face- session to an online format, I really didn't expect to get a lot of interest. So, I was surprised and excited to see 8 people sign up for the class almost straight away, given that I had set the cap at 8 people for this first session. And we did so well! Everyone was set up at ready to go within about 5 minutes, and we really had fun. We played with Zoom a bit, had a look at the wonderful screen sharing capabilities including the Whiteboard, then got into some questions from the participants. I could share my iPhone / iPad screens with the group so that I could answer their questions, and show them where to find things on the device and how to use various features. Everyone agreed that it was a huge success, and we look forward to the next online session - which I will open up to even more participants, for any other people who are brave enough to give it a try!
Always such great questions raised at our monthly iPad/iPhone User Groups, and so many useful topics covered. Thanks again to those who attended February's session on 14/2/19 at 11am.
