When I first got my iPhone 6S Plus, the thing that I noticed straight away was how much better the Touch Sensor on this new device was, compared with my previous iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5S.
Lately, I had certainly noticed that the Touch Sensor on my iPhone 6S Plus seemed to be less reliable - sometimes just not responding at all, but then when I swiped, the screen unlocked without a passcode. I thought it might just be my own device with this issue - but the below article indicates that many others have been finding the same issue since upgrading to iOS 9.1. Have you noticed this problem on your device since upgraded to 9.1?

Just in case anyone is still waiting for confirmation that it is OK to go ahead with the upgrade from iOS 8 to the latest release of iOS (which is now at iOS 9.1), I can confirm hat the 'coast is pretty clear' (so to speak). iOS 9.1 now seems fairly stable for the majority of users, so go ahead. Of course, don't forget to take a backup of your i-Device before proceeding with this upgrade, and things can sometimes go awry during upgrades - and you certainly don't want to lose your precious photos and data. If you need any help with the upgrade, just make a time to come to iTandCoffee and we can assist you - call 1300 885 420. Once you have an upgraded i-Device, why not come along to 'Discovering iOS 9' |
