This meant that I could not take advantage of my favourite feature in that app - that an email can be rescheduled to pop up again in your Inbox (as unread) at a later time!
Well, Microsoft has now updated this app so that it also supports mail accounts like my business account, which is an IMAP mail account. Yay! This means that Outook app will today be promoted to have pride of place on my first Home screen on my iPhone!
This still won't help those of you who have the 'old-fashioned' type of mail accounts from Bigpond, Optusnet, Netspace, Westnet, etc - these are POP mail accounts and are still not supported by the Outlook App.
I will use Outlook for my iPhone mail for a while, and report back soon on how I find if for everday use - whether it will replace, or just live alongside, the standard iOS Mail app on my device.
